After Katrina: Designing a Sustainable Relationship with Water

10 years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, non-profit Changing Course has announced the winners of their international design competition for 100-year visions to restore and sustain the Mississippi River Delta. The winning entries were submitted by Baird & AssociatesMoffatt & Nichol, and Studio Misi-Ziibi. As the effects of climate change are felt around the world, many cities will need to rethink their relationships with water, whether it’s because there is too much or too little.
